As I had mentioned before, I am having a contest!! In this contest 2 different people will win a FREE Sony Walkman W Series Music Player! If you want more information on this product, please see my product review HERE.
I have been debating on different ways to run this contest. I was considering opening my contest earlier and having each person fill out a NCAA bracket and the winner wins a free player, BUT, I decided that lots of people actually do NOT like basketball and it might turn them off of the contest (I know, shocking right!) Well, since I am not feeling super creative at the moment and really want to get this contest moving, I am going to use a more traditional style "blog contest" giveaway.
The rules should be simple -
1) Contest applies to US residents only (sorry everyone else, but I am shipping this on my own dime!)
2) You must "Follow" my blog so please click on the follow button here.
3) You can gain one entry by commenting on this post (Note, I will give a bonus entry if your comment tells me your favorite all time running quote).
4) You can gain another entry by commenting on my most recent episode post (Episode XIX) at my podcast page at Podbean -- http://thecrazyrunner.podbean.com/
5) For an additional entry, Go to Facebook and tag me (Matthew Swanson) in a post of yours mentioning the contest to others
6) Also for an entry, go to Twitter and tell people about the contest. Make sure to add #CRContest to your post along with an @Crazyrunner
7) I will give one last additional entry if you send me an email (thecrazyrunner@gmail.com) and tell me Which episode of my podcast was your favorite and why.
The contest winners will be chosen randomly from random.org on Champoionship Monday! (Monday, April 4, 2011) Do remember, the more entries you have the better your odds are of winning! Good luck to all of you and I hope that you enjoy the contest. If you have any questions, please do NOT hesitate to ask me. Remember there will be TWO lucky winners
Until next time, buh bye!

Favorite quote: Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.
Thanks for putting on a great competition!

Running is like sex and pizza: even when it is bad, it is still pretty good. Ok, it is not a real running quote, but I won't tell if you don't.
Seriously, I really like John Bingham's,"The miracal isn't that I finished, it's that I had the courage to start"
Yes, Steve Runner, courage.
Of course my favorite running quote would have to come from my favorite movie (being Run Fatboy Run):
Gordon: Go on then, run!
Dennis: Isn't there some kind of like... special technique?
Gordon: Well... yeah... you put one leg in front of the other over and over again really really fast.
Favorite quote: Move it, Grandma! (My daughter's advice to me before a race!)
I don't guess "Run Forrest Run" counts as a quote? Only one I know, and refuse to google! lol
My favorite running quote: “To give anything less than your best
is to sacrifice the gift.” - Steve Prefontaine
It's even on my ID dog tags that I wear when I run outside.
My favorite quote: It is not the mountain we conquer , but ourselves.
I follow
I follow. :)
Just wanted to let you know I added this to the new Runner Giveaway site I started:
http://runnerswag.blogspot.com
Do or do not, there is no try...Yoda
I'm a follower.
"If you want to become the best runner you can be, start now. Don't spend the rest of your life wondering if you can do it."
-Priscilla Welch
I love this quote because I spent the last 23 years telling myself that I couldn't run, because I wouldn't be good at it. Now I'm running....slow...and not very long...but I'm doing it and couldn't be more proud.
I'm a new follower & my favorite running quote is "Running wont kill you, you'll pass out first"
I'm a new follower!!!
"I'm So Far Behind, I Thought I Was First"
Love this :)
I posted your giveaway on my Facebook page. Not sure how to tag you.

I commented on your XIX Podcast :)
"The miracle isn't that I finished. The miracle is that I had the courage to start."
-John Bingham, running speaker and writer
Great giveaway!!! Thanks.
So my favorite "quote" is more of a thought that I use sometimes. When I'm starting to hurt, I look around and think "Everyone else is hurting too. Some are just better than others at hiding it, but I know their secret, because they're in the same boat as me."
I follow the blog. Thanks for the giveaway and the podcast.
Hey what a great idea for a give away.
Oops, forgot the quote. I have tri. The first, I actually got from you: The Surgeon General has determined i is OK to smoke your opponent!
The second is from Scott Jurrek: "Run because you love it. If you don' learn to love it. Running will bring th into your life that you could never imagine."
Thanks Matt for the contest and the blog. I am going to check out your podcasts soon as well. Your out of my league as a runner as I am a pokey old man!!!!
Favorite Quote: Has to be John Bingham's "The miracal isn't that I finished, it's that I had the courage to start"
It is a miracle I started.
Roger - thanks for the try. and it isnt about being "out of your league" what matters is that we are all out there, having fun, enjoying life, and bettering ourselves.
Thanks for the blog, podcast, and your twitter feed. Thanks also for hosting a content/giveaway, cool idea.
I enjoy all the media, especially in the past several days as I've been 'off' running to recuperate from a bad chest cold.
-Carolyn (seattlec2)
Ok, So here is one of my entries...LOL I am commenting..and leaving a quote... However obtaining to running, not "for" running...LOL. Still thought it was funny!!
I believe that the Good Lord gave us a finite number of heartbeats and I'm damned if I'm going to use up mine running up and down a street.
- Neil Armstrong
favorite running quote "One Step, One Breath" No idea where I heard it but I use it often.
Favorite running quote - "A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more. Nobody is going to win a 5,000 meter race after running an easy 2 miles. Not with me. If I loose forcing the pace all the way, well, at least I can live with myself."
I guess I do need to enter- don't fret... If i win then I will just be giving it away on my blog as I already have the one he tested. LOL
